I’ll say it again; Thanksgiving rocks. I could not be more thankful for my family and all the laughter, joy…and more laughter this holiday brings. The women and men in our lives are some special people. My sister’s dry, sharp witty sense of humor, my mom a.k.a. Saint Della always there to give and serve, Kate the girlfriend we hopes sticks around permanently (Mark 😉😉), Uncle Mark our family Coastie with a heart of pure Gold, Nick the boyfriend my kids are madly in love with who equally matches my sister’s witty humor, and my dad, Charles, who is our always faithful family rock! LOVE THEM ALL!!! 🙌🏼
My brother, Uncle Mark, just got home from 9 months in Cuba serving with the Coast Guard at GTMO, which made our family time together even sweeter.
My boys are obsessed with Uncle Nick which gives Adam and I a break to eat, play catch phrase, and eat some more.😆
We always have Thanksgiving at my mom and dads and everyone pitches in…turkey, zesty carrots, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, cranberry apple crisp, pumpkin pie, and the infamous green jello salad.
We Also shared some tears this year as we spread our sweet Sugar’s ashes from my dad’s boat onto Jean Guite Creek, her favorite place to be, and shared memories of the best yellow lab there ever was. 🙏🏼
The gorgeous sunset topped it all off, and Crew’s outstretched arms watching the sun go down were a final reminder of all the blessings HE has given us all.✌🏼
